Billboard.com reports that Anti-Records will release the debut EP from One Day as a Lion, the collaborative effort of Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore.

“It's a sonic reflection of the visceral tension between a picturesque fabricated cultural landscape, and the brutal socioeconomic realities it attempts to mask,” the band says of the album in the Billboard report. Zack de la Rocha plays keyboards in addition to fronting the band.

The self-titled, five-track EP will be released July 22.
