According to a report on pitchforkmedia.com, trip hop progenitor Tricky will release Knowle West Boy, his first album since 2003’s Vulnerable.

The report goes on to say that the album will be released Sept. 9 in the US via Domino Records. The album’s dedicated Web site knowlewestboy.com currently has a video of the first single “Council Estate” as well as an option to download all parts of the song for the purpose of remixing in return for the downloader’s email address.  

According to the concert listing site, pollstar.com, Tricky will be playing a number of select international shows this summer, but at present there are no US dates scheduled.
