Welsh quintet, Super Furry Animals, will be running rampant on a North American tour starting in January according to Pollstar.com.

The band will be touring in support of Hey Venus!, their eighth studio album and first for Rough Trade Records. Lead singer Gruff Rhys declares it to be “a speaker blowing LP,” which no doubt means that it will make for an exciting live show (or at least a loud one). The band’s endurance is a feat in its own right but indeed well-deserved—fans have enjoyed their psychedelic and occasional tongue-in-cheek rock n’ roll for over a decade.
