Variety reports that Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon will star in a “romantic comedy adventure” to be directed by Cameron Crowe.

According to the report, filming will begin in January but Columbia, who outbid four rival studios for the picture, is keeping plot details tightly under wraps.

Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, Almost Famous) is producing and directing from his own screenplay.
