A company press release announces that, spiralfrog.com, launched in Sept. 2007, has become the third largest legal music download site with 850,000 registered users and two million unique visitors.

SpiralFrog is an ad-supported site that allows registered users to download any of its one million songs and four thousand music videos.

Joe Mohen, founder and chairman of SpiralFrog comments that “We are still the only major legal ad-supported music download site, and by year end we believe that SpiralFrog will be the second largest legal music download service, behind only iTunes.”
