Singer/songwriters Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin, and Buddy Miller will be sharing the stage on a brief January tour.
The Three Girls and Their Buddy Tour, promises to be a far better tour than its dubious title implies, with four seasoned artists sharing the limelight. Although no official word confirms this, expect the artists to be performing a mix of each other’s songs in what could not be anything other than a memorable outing.

Woody Guthrie Live in Concert

With a plethora of albums and nearly 3,000 song lyrics, it may come as a surprise to learn that Woody Guthrie has never been heard in concert except by those who actually attended a show. It was thought that a live recording of Woody Guthrie was non-existent until 2001 when a suspicious package turned up at the Woody Guthrie Archives containing two spools of wire recordings.

Unconfirmed from the Radiohead camp but leaked to the folks at Pitchforkmedia.com is a rumor that slates Radiohead’s In Rainbows to be released in North America the old-fashioned way: on a shiny disc snuggly ensconced in festive post-modern artwork. As reported, ATO/Side One is the lucky group to handle U.S. distribution and may possibly have the disc out by New Year’s.
